    Nothing takes you "back in time" like the taste of a home-cooked meal. That's what is waiting for you at The Farmer's Wife Country Tea Room in Jamesport.

    Located just 4 blocks west of downtown, this picturesque little house beckons visitors and locals alike to come in and sit a spell. Flower beds and window boxes are eye-catching and the rock patio and sidewalk add a cottage look. Cozy corners, sunny windows, antique decor and farmhouse charm are quaint and relaxing and serve as the perfect backdrop for a sit-down meal that you are sure to enjoy.

Seating is available for 44. With groups of 8 or more you are encouraged to call ahead for seating.     A limited menu is offered each day, Tuesday through Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

    Generous portions guaranteed to satisfy the hungriest farmer are served on vintage china with each entree' accompanied by homemade hot or chilled soup, a mouth-watering muffin and fresh fruit. Chicken Salad, Quiche and a Farmer's Favorite Sandwich are entree's served each day with a variety of daily specials offered to tempt your taste buds. Meals range from $5.95 - 7.50.
